GIGABYTE collaborates with Microsoft Azure, world renowned tech giant in AI technology, to create the world’s first fully automated AI powered laptop, the AERO. Performance laptops comes with infinite cooling configuration/mode possibilities that sounds great on paper but falls flat when it comes to real world application. Laptop cooling and performance goes hand in hand, with that said, we all know it is near impossible to monitor temperature or micro adjust while gaming or working, which results in an underperforming and noisy laptop experience. As to user agreement, the Microsoft Azure AI can automatically determine and adjust by analyzing user preferences and usage. Furthermore, the AI is then taken online to the Microsoft Cosmos DB to continue its machine learning process, sending back and forth detailed adjustment settings for the fans, CPU and GPU. All the info is then captured and used by the AERO laptop.
Microsoft Azure AI can detect which APP is running and automatically adjust profiles for CPU, GPU and fan accordingly in order to offer the optimal using environment. With such feature, AERO laptops can help user fluently transfer from one app to another without further manual settings.

Edge computing is a type of computing network architecture, where computation is moved as close to the source of data as possible, in order to reduce latency and bandwidth use. The aim is to reduce the amount of computing required to be performed in a centralized, remote location (i.e. the “cloud”) far away from the source of the data or the user who requires the result of the computation, thus minimizing the amount of long-distance communication that has to happen between a client and server. Rapid advances in technology allowing for miniaturization and increased density of computing hardware as well as software virtualization have made edge computing more feasible in recent years.
